the creation that comes from two
Thursday, November 29, 2007, 03:57 PM EST [General]
today marks the year my other half and I brought a precious joy into our lives. Both of us having children, i think its safe to say that having a soul brought into our lives created by the trueness of love, is awesome. Not the artificial kind that never lasts, the kind that stays with you for all of eternity. A love that words just cannot express nor would i try to because it is something so beyond my comprehension. every single day of this past year i look into the childs eyes thay my love and I created together and it brings such a warmth and joy over me. A feeling I have never truly felt. I look at that smiling face look up at me and I see both of our souls looking back at me. This has been a trialing year, one of hardships, betrayl, tests of many kinds. Though it has been hard, one thing has remained a constant at the end of the day, Our contentness, our love, our friendship, our family. I have dreampt many dreams of this kind of contentment in life. Happy Birthday to our little pumpkin:)
THREE IN ONE

1. The Goddess
She is the Maiden
Wonder-filled, joyous, innocent
She is the Mother
knowing, nurturing, life-giving
She is the Crone
Dark, destructive, rest-bringing
She is the Goddess
She is me
2. Nature
The quiet stillness of a lake
silent in the early morn.
Crickets and their incessant hum surround me.
The cry of unseen birds beckon
and their leafy homes remind me.
The mountain call out.
Flowers, reverent guardians, in every hue,
beauty all encompassing in my soul.
For I will never be alone.
3. The Earth
I am the tree,
Standing alone in the meadow.
I am the bird,
Whose sweet song calls the dawn.
I am the mountain,
Looming in the distance.
I am the ant,
Always busy but never done.
I am the sun,
Whose rays kiss the sky each morn.
I am the wolf, the rain, the stars.
I am the Earth,
And I am Life.
She is the Maiden
Wonder-filled, joyous, innocent
She is the Mother
knowing, nurturing, life-giving
She is the Crone
Dark, destructive, rest-bringing
She is the Goddess
She is me

FAITH

Goddess, Are You Real?
The little child whispered,
"Goddess, speak to me"
And a meadowlark sang.
But the child did not hear.
So the child yelled,
"Goddess, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky
But the child did not listen.
The child looked around and said,
"God, let me see you."
And a star shone brightly
But the child did not notice.
And the child shouted,
"Goddess, show me a miracle!"
And a life was born
But the child did not know.
So the child cried out in despair,
"Touch me God, and let me know you are there!"
Whereupon the God reached down
And touched the child.
But the child brushed the butterfly away
And walked away unknowingly.
